As a Pet Care Facility Manager you will:

Management

  • Assign roles to shifted staff members
  • Review executed tasks by staff members
  • Document employee performance issues
  • Administer employee discipline as necessary
  • Complete employee performance reviews as assigned

New Clients

  • Perform client facility tours
  • Set up new clients in system
  • Schedule & perform temperament tests

Administration

  • Positively greet customers and welcome in guests
  • Answer client communications

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Positively interact with customers
  • Record intake inventory notes and add-ons
  • Complete Exit Inventory checklist
  • Perform exit body check
  • Prepare and submit exit report

Cleaning

  • Clean lobby area
  • Deep clean facility

Compliance

  • Review controlled chemical inventory and expirations

Emergency

  • Perform & document pet first aid
  • Perform & document human first aid
  • Take injured pet to emergency vet

Feeding & Medication

  • Prepare food
  • Pull feeding & medication list
  • Prepare and administer medication
  • Monitor food consumption issues and follow-up

Play

  • Swap dogs at designated intervals
  • Monitor play group and address issues
  • Perform ongoing temperament assessment of guests
  • Update dog profile notes
  • Add visit notes and take and upload photos
  • Finalize and send visit report

You must have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a pet care/dog daycare facility
  • Availability Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on major holidays

It’d be extra awesome if you have:

  • 1+ years of experience managing a team of employees

Physical Demands:

  • Capable of physical movements requiring the use of legs, wrists, hands and/or fingers including kneeling and bending
  • Repetitive arm and wrist use. Frequent grasping.
  • Ability to pull up to 140 pounds
  • Ability to be on feet and/or walking up to eight (8) hours per day for at least six (6) hours
  • Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds
